The Tree Atlas database uses quarter degree square references*. If you know the reference for the area you are interested in, please enter it below, else, click on your general area of interest on the map to zoom in.

*Quarter degree square reference notation: the Tree Atlas' own explanation of the QDS system can be found here. The same system is used by both the Namibian Surveyor-General and the South African Directorate of Surveys and Mapping to number their respective 1:50000 map sheets, and is also explained on the latter's web site.
